The Ambler Farm property

The folks at Ambler Farm have taken all of the construction fencing down surrounding the beautiful Ambler Home, in Wilton. This preserved land and the buildings that sit on it are my favorite pieces of Wilton.

The town, in partnership with an organization trusted by the Ambler Family, is currently working to restore the area to its original agrarian form, and turn it into a working-museum for area school children.

The exterior architecture is amazing, and the interior will soon be equally stunning. Much of the house is non-linear, and features styles of interior and exterior architecture that span 100s of years.

You cannot go inside yet on a public tour, but you can go anywhere on the grounds absolutely for free.
